Alzheimer’s disease, as one the most common neurodegenerative disorders, are characterized by extensive oxidative damage to different biological substrates that cause cell death. A recent review provided evidence of the therapeutic efficacy of CBD in patients affected by neurodegenerative disorders and proposed CBD as a promising therapeutic candidate for Alzheimer’s disease with its safety and tolerability profile in clinical studies.
