Cannabis Decreased Stomach Pain in Ulcerative Colitis Patients

A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial showed that THC-rich cannabis improved the quality of life in ulcerative colitis patients by reducing stomach pain and improving bowel movements. There was also a significant improvement in quality of life, general health, appetite, libido, concentration, and patient satisfaction with the treatment.
